Stating the obvious, moving to a new country is not always easy.  Each day is like a mini roller coaster, one hour you feel on top of the world, immersed in the beauty and splendor of Paris.  The next, you step in <ahem> dog poop, and then a little Parisian lady yells at you for no apparent reason.  But one of the hardest things is being so far away from my friends and family, and not being able to talk with them face-to-face, regardless of Skype and video chatting.  This week a friend of mine from college came to stay with me, just when I needed a friend the most, and I couldn't be happier and more relieved.  The gratefulness of Thanksgiving just keeps on going for me.

Aww, we moved across the US from the West Coast to the East & that was hard enough...can't imagine what you're going through! Love this casual outfit on you, btw - the mix of florals is so pretty! :)

Hey, gorgeous! Despite how much you enjoy, I know how it feels to move to another country, and as you say, that's when good friends are more than ever a godsend. :-) I like your outfit: the floral blouse and that amazing bag! Besides, your face looks great with all sort of sunnies!
